What is a Deanery Synod anyway?
A Deanery Synod is a gathering of clergy and elected lay representatives from all the parishes within the deanery. It’s a space where we come together to share ideas, support one another, and make decisions that help shape the life and mission of our local churches. Meeting a few times a year, the Synod provides a vital link between individual parishes, the wider deanery, and the Diocese—helping us to work together, pray together, and grow together in faith and service.
Deanery Synod Resource Mapping
As part of working better together, we're working on finding out what resources and challenges we all share. That work involves our 'Deanery Resource Mapping Questionnaire'. If you know about it, and are looking for it, you can find and complete it here.
