The Words we use for Worship

Do the words that we use influence the way in which we approach God and think about ourselves? Is our vocabulary limited by tradition and would the use of different words expand our understanding and experience? Are there contexts where some words are inappropriate or harmful?

Andrew has been a local preacher for over 50 years, has written over sixty hymn poems, and also writes his own prayers for use in worship.
